What kinds of animals do you have in Canada? Moose, Bears, Deer, Rabbits, Ducks, Squirrels, Skunks, Foxes, Turtles, Hawks, Porcipines, Fish, Beavers, Coyotes, Birds, Eagles, Snakes, Hedgehog, Raccoon, Goose, Cats, Dogs, Mice, Badgers. - How cold is the snow? Alex thinks about minus 10-15 degrees. Hannah says it's really cold. - How high does the snow get up to? Sometimes it gets up to your knees and then there are snow hills (which the ploughs make) and they can be as high as the top of the slide on the playground. You can climb and slide down the hills. It's lots of fun! We can make forts too. - What do you do in the class? Math, Silent Reading, Art, Games, Reading Partners, Writing, Centres, Maliseet, Chrissy reads to us, Classroom Helper Jobs, Gym (We go out 4 times a week with Mr Kelly) Music (We go out 2 times a week with Mrs Norton) Library (once a week, we can borrow 1 book each week) Morning Message and we have FUN! We always eat our snack and lunch inside the classroom before going out to play. Zip, Magic Number, Football, Sports, (Ice) Hockey, Soccer, Zero Bob, Baseball, T-Ball, Volleyball, Squirt, Rugby, Super Mario Bro's, Candy Land, Cricket (Shane), Golf, Basketball, 7 of us have a DS, 10 of us have a Wii at home, Tennis, Battleship, Swimming, Twister, Maxwell and Taylor have a swimming pool at home so they can swim in summer time (But in Winter, it is all ice and Maxwell practises hockey on it!)
- How many months do you have snow? Usually there is snow between December - March. But it can start earlier and finish later! Today (19th March) there is no snow, just lots of ice and big puddles of water. We can see mud and grass and rocks again! - How long do you get to stay outside for? Recess is a 15 minute break and Lunch is for 35 minutes. We eat food inside before going out to play. - How many children are in your school? Around 200 students are at our school. There are 2 grades of Kindergarten (Prep), Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 4. There is 1 grade of Grade 3 and Grade 5. - Are there lots of trees? YES! - Have you all seen a real moose? YES, well nearly all of us have. They live in the forest and the woods and that is where we have seen them! - What type of food do you eat? - Do you have jobs in your classroom? Yes and I will tell you some of them. You can clean the shoe rack, that's my favourite. Special Helper, Under Tables, Door Holder, Handout. We do recycling.
- Do you have cats or dogs? Yes, some of us have pets: Christina has 2 cats and 1 dog, Taylor has 1 dog, Erin has a dog, Breea has a dog.
- What is it like in the summer? In summer it's really hot. We don't go to school in summer. We get to go on vacations. We get to go to P.E.I. It is so hot! There is a pool.
- Do you see bears close to your house? No but there is in the zoo. I saw one when I was camping. Ryan has never seen a bear.
- What kids of sports or games do you play? Soccer, Skating, Hockey, Swimming, Tennis, Football, Volleyball, Dancing, Basketball, Baseball, Dodgeball. I do this in Summer.

- Do you have computers, cars, helicopters and different machines like that? We do have video games and lots of electronics. We have all kinds of things like play stations and X-Box.

- What do you like to do to celebrate birthdays? I celebrate my birthday at my house. I celebrate my birthday by doing a cupcake party and a sleepover and a regular party. My cake was HUGE. We have parties.
- What did you do to celebrate Valentine’s Day? We have cake. We give Valentines to each other. We send cards and get candy. We have balloons and LOTS OF FUN!
